We created a notebook and incorporated all of the STEAM letters in order to create an argumentative essay about Odyssey. This was done by using the required multi-model steps that were used to help us develop our ideas and incorporate creativity. Math Assignment #1
We applied transformations to the real world through discussing how video games were made when they were designed by hand in the early 1980s. We went through the process of designing our own video games using many different transformations. It was important throughout this process that we remember the differences between translations, reflections, rotations, and dilation's. Translation is when you simply move a shape around, and reflection is when you completely flip a shape. Rotation is when you turn a shape. Lastly, dilation is when you change the size of a shape.

We researched an element that was assigned to us and created a hero or villain. I chose to create a villain. This is because I am more familiar with designing heroes, so I was excited to challenge myself. After we designed our hero, we had to create a poster for our hero and write an origin story. It was exciting getting to showcase my creativity and passion for ingenuity.

I made a video explaining to an audience who I am, the things that I care about the most and that I really love. This was to imitate a poem written by Langston Hughes in which he discussed his pride in his race and how that relates to America. I created a string of sentences in an expected situation. This places me in the Intermediate Level in my performance skills in Spanish.
