We created a fake news story in order to incorporate both a social justice issue and temperature predictions done through cosign equations. This project thought us how professionals use math in their everyday life

I had my first piano recital and 10/18/22, and I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself. I joined this class with goal of becoming a better singer but I found myself falling in love with playing as well. I look forward to challenging myself and seeing what progress I can make
This was the first chorus concert of my junior year, and I feel like it went wonderfully. For our last piece Sanctuary, we sang with both the middle and elementary groups. This was a very cool experience that solidified my want to teach younger kids.
I also collaborate with peers during GSU Singfest, a one-day event similar to Honor Chorus in which a director instructs kids from the Atlanta area and provides insight into the professional world of music
This holiday concert proved to me that power is in numbers. Our first piece was combined with the EA and JA was very moving and a great way to start off the holiday season. I am going to miss my high school performing days
This piece helped me to improve my right hand and left hand coordination. I felt a little bit of pressure due to the fact that I had limited time, but it's helping me to prepare for my future plans. Piano is becoming a very fun aspect of my life
The purpose of the program is to have users interact with their horse sprite and gain points if they touch sweets. If they get the high score, they win the entire game. This is an elevated version of my previous create task. The first function I created is a score function that helps to collect user data. When the user touches the horse, they gain points that can eventually lead to a win. This point gaining can happen indefinitely
The purpose of this program was to assess a user's ability to recount pictures shown to them and then relay a score. This was meant to be a bit difficult. The user inputs the pictures that they see and the program is then telling them that they either had a strike or earned a point.
Today in pre calc we learned how to create a stop motion video by multiplying a matrix with various coordinates. This helped to combine math with art and technology
This is a clip from Drew Charter chorus's 2023 performance at LGPE. I like this piece because it demonstrates that power isn't always in numbers, and small choirs can often achieve as much as bigger ones. This piece shows a wonderful range of dynamics that work to display the message of the composer. I believe we deserve all superiors
During this unit in Spanish, we learned the beauty of fashion and designed an outfit using Hispanic clothing companies. I really enjoyed combining foreign language and drew's design principles to make a seamless look. After this we made clothes of our own and had a fashion show
In pre-calculus we used our knowledge of physics to create a rocket with the hope of it having the most height. In order to determine if we were successful, we had to calculate the parabola of the rockets' flight path and the height of its triangle. We designed this rocket with the hope of having a sharp cone to cut through the air and 4 wings to balance out the pressure. In addition, when filling the rocket with water we had to calculate the proper amount so that we would have enough pressure but not too much weight. f we were to do this again we would create a parachute to ensure that it would stay in the air for longer
In pre-calculus we used our knowledge of probability to create a carnival game to present to our peers. We were required to create three different difficulties with increasingly smaller probability. In my group, we made a game of chance where a person would select a cup and hope the color inside matched the various paintings. For the first round, they had to find 3/6 of the colors. For the second round, they had to find 2/6 of the colors. For the last, they had one chance to find the right color.
