Making a box

Steps:

1. Cut wood to the right length

2. Use biscuit jointer and glue pieces together in form of box

3. Sand box with sander

4. Stain box with wood stain

5. Add joints to the lid and box so it opens and closes

We went to Arduino and changed the frequency of the flashing of the LED in the code and then plugged it in.

We heated up the metal rod and then melted a metal wire that combined the strip and wires together.

I programmed the code to flash correctly Using Arduino. I had to plug the wires into the correct places on the motherboard.

A laser cutter is a machine that can engrave stuff into glass and make cool things in it. Some challenges I faces were trying to make the design on ink scape. We used cardboard, glass, wires, and LED strip. The easiest part was making the box to hold the glass. I chose to use Chadwick Boseman as my person. I chose him because he had a big impact on African Americans in the filming world and for everyone else.

I learned a lot of things doing this project. Such as how to use these tools; Table saw, CNC router, planer saw, Miter saw, biscuit jointer, and wood stain. My favorite thing was the wood stain which we did last. It was my favorite because it was satisfying and I felt it was a good thing to know how to do.

With this project we made a plankton in Tinkercad. The first thing we did was find all the shapes we needed. Then we changed the size of them. Then we colored them and put it all together. Tinkercad is a website where you can create 3D objects.

This is my Minion that I created in Tinker CAD. What inspired me to make this creation was the despicable me movie. I used to watch it when i was a kid and thought it was funny. One thing that was hard to do was the eye and the glasses around it. It was hard to get it in the right place and shape.
