Idea development

I drew a snowboarder because I work as a snowboard instructor and I do it in my free time and its fun

Soldering iron

we use coil and a soldering iron to melt the coil to keep the wires on the cooper in order for our led lights to turn on to add color when we use Arduino to program it

finished product

this is my finished lamp led light. I chose the weekend because he is a huge inspiration to everyone. He was the first ever artist to win the digital artist award two years in a row. And also he has donated thousands of dollars to charities and to the Black community.

Laser cutter

This laser cutter isn’t the exact same as the one we used but its very similar. First we started off by making a pdf of the outline design we were using for me I did the weeknd. Next you used a computer and got the PDF on the computer hooked up the the laser cutter. Than peeled one half of the acrylic and put it in the cutter and lined it up on the computer. Than hit go and waited an hour for the design to finish on the acrylic. And after that we were complete.

What was easy for me was just the PDF because it was a video and you had to follow it but it was a long video with weird steps so a lot of people would get lost. But if you payed attention it wasn't bad. If I had personal freedom I probably would have done a character from a show or just a cool picture.

For the light we used a motherboard, LEDs and some wires and pretty much connected them where the teacher told us. Got a box and a chord and plugged the in programmed them to how we wanted the light to look than we finished the light.
