For about a year and a half now, I’ve been playing soccer here and there, just for fun. Then, during summer break last year, I visited Spain. While I was there, I decided to try out for a soccer club at an academy called the American School of Barcelona. It was my first time playing soccer outside of my home state, so I was a bit scared at first. But in the end, it turned out to be a really fun experience. After that experience in Spain, I realized how much I love soccer and how far I want to go with it. Now, I want to take a bigger step forward and keep getting better. I know it won’t be easy, but I’m ready to work hard and stay focused. One day, I want to go pro that’s the dream, and I’m going to do everything I can to make it happen. This year, in 2025, I tried out for my school soccer team, but I didn’t make it. It was disappointing, but I know it just means there are still things I need to work on and improve. I’m not giving up I’m going to keep training, keep learning, and do whatever it takes to get better and reach my goals.Soccer has taught me some serious life lessons. It’s shown me the importance of hard work, discipline, and not giving up, even when things get tough. I’ve learned how to be a better teammate, how to handle failure, and how to push myself to improve. It’s more than just a sport to me now it’s changed the way I see things in life and helped me grow as a person.
