To volunteer means to help others without getting paid. It could be helping at a food bank, cleaning up a park, or supporting people in your community. You do it because you care and want to make a difference.
Drew asks students to volunteer for 100 hours during high school because they want us to learn how to give back to the community. Volunteering helps us grow as people, understand others better, and learn new skills. It also shows us how we can make the world a better place by helping out where it's needed.
