What does it mean to volunteer?  Why would Drew require you volunteer for 100 hours during your high school career?  To me volunteer means going out of your way to help out in anyway or to provide services without being asked. Drew would require 100 hours because it symbolizes you are active in your community and because it looks amazing on a college application.
