I researched and presented a project on Michael Jordan, highlighting his achievements in sports and impact on culture . I created a presentation that examined his career, leadership, and influence on sports and society, showing how his success went beyond the basketball court. Completing this project helped me strengthen my research, critical thinking, and presentation skills. It also taught me the value of perseverance, discipline, and using your platform to inspire others, which has influenced how I approach my own academic, creative, and personal goals.

Sundiata App (Mr. Kitchen 1A, 2nd Semester)
For this project, I designed an interactive app based on Sundiata’s story to make learning engaging and hands-on. It involved English, Technology, and Design. I applied coding, user interface design, and project management skills to create a functional and educational app. I learned how to balance creativity with usability, organize complex information for an audience, and collaborate effectively when testing the app. This project improved both my technical skills and my understanding of how technology can enhance storytelling.

For this project, I created an animated scene based on the story of Sundiata. The purpose was to visually represent a historical narrative in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. I used animation techniques, storytelling skills, and attention to detail to bring the scene to life. Through this project, I strengthened my ability to translate written text into visual media and improved my understanding of pacing, creativity, and historical interpretation.

For the immersive experience, I created original music beats using Soundtrap. I incorporated the theme of water by integrating audio samples of John F. Kennedy discussing the idea that human life originates from water, which added depth and meaning to the overall composition. I am most proud of my track Rage because of the time, effort, and attention to detail I invested in its production. If I could improve one aspect of my work, I would dedicate more time to developing each of my songs more evenly, rather than focusing heavily on only a few pieces.

Newton Rockets (Physical Science)

IMG_0288.MOVThis assignment is when we made a Newton Rocket. Newtons Rocket is a toy rocket made with multiple objects and ingredients to send it flying. It represents the Second and Third Laws from Newtons Laws. Our group made a rocket out of a water bottle in science and ignited the Rocket with Baking soda Vinegar. We also attached Straws with tape to the bottle and used a Cork to top it off. The art of the Rocket has balance, color, form and shape.
