AP Statistics Causal Relationships Project: Driving Experience and Student Lateness
The goal of this project was to investigate whether a student’s driving experience affects how often they are late to school. I collected and analyzed data to examine the relationship between years of driving and the number of days students arrive late, using statistical methods to identify trends and patterns. Completing this project helped me develop skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and it taught me how to apply statistical reasoning to real-world problems. This work also reinforced the importance of evidence-based conclusions and showed me how research can provide practical solutions for improving school operations and student habits.
