My book cover relates to my book because he title has a distinct play onto the plot into the book and one of the main characters in my booked loved fresh flowers. I decided to use to use this design for my book because I feel like it encapsulates parts of my book really well like how at first glance you notice the pretty flowers then you start to see the wrinkled cloth and see how truly messy the whole ordeal is.
I feel like as a basis idea for a book it was good but once you actually started to read it everything was just too much to handle. From start to end the characters thoughts and actions confused me consistently, I understand that the chapters weren't suppose to add up together but they felt so random next to each other. All four of the sisters lived vastly different lives but had similar opinions on things which confused me, since the sisters experienced different things shouldn't their opinions differ as well. Sometimes I felt like some of the sisters stories were a little shallow and just wanted to show a menagerie of taboo topics with women such as sex and eating disorders. All through out the book there was also just weird instances of the characters going off the rails and doing something so out of character, I just feel like the characters never stayed the same personality wise. The characters had different personality and likes but things never stood out enough for me to exactly remember who that person was and what happened, everything was just so forgetful as it was shocking. Overall in my opinion this book was subpar and too long for it not to have a clear ending.
