Mi Yeong You was born in South Korea. She trained as a nurse before emigrating to New Zealand in 2002. For the next 19 years, she worked as an ophthalmology nurse at the Greenlane Clinical Centre. While working, she continued her studies, graduating with a Master of Nursing (First Class Honours) and then qualifying as a Nurse Practitioner. She joined the clinic in 2021 and has become an integral member of our team.
Sharron Dorset has managed the clinic for 21 years. Her extensive knowledge of the health system and hospital services has been invaluable in helping patients access timely care when needed. Her cheerful nature and professional approach make patients feel welcome from their first contact with the clinic.
Kellie Shin completed her nursing studies in South Korea before emigrating to New Zealand some 25 years ago. After raising her family, she returned to nursing and has worked at the clinic since 2023. Kellie is certified as a Vaccinating Health Worker.
Nick Cooper has practiced as a GP since 1990. He established the clinic at 33 Queen Mary Avenue in 1993 and has provided comprehensive general practice care there ever since. He has a particular interest in continuity of care and providing long-term medical care for families.
