Esthetic Laser Aftercare — Provider Fact Sheet
What It Is: ZapQuell™ combines Black Pepper (Piper nigrum), Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis), and Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) in a portable personal inhaler. The formulation is intended to provide patients with a simple aromatic ritual for comfort, intentional breathing, settling, and mindful participation in post-laser recovery. ZapQuell™ is an aftercare accompaniment. It is not an anesthetic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory medication, or substitute for provider-directed post-procedure care.

CB2 receptors participate in inflammatory, nociceptive, immune, and neuroimmune signaling. This pharmacology provides an intriguing scientific rationale for including Black Pepper in the formulation. Sweet Orange contributes a warm, bright aromatic character supporting receptivity, while Lavender provides the settling and integrative component of the blend.

Safety & Clinical Boundaries: Do not use ZapQuell™ in patients with known sensitivity or allergy to its ingredients or significant fragrance intolerance. Discontinue use if exposure to aromatics causes coughing, respiratory irritation, headache, dizziness, nausea, nasal irritation, or significant aversion. Unexpected, persistent, or worsening symptoms following laser treatment require appropriate clinical assessment. ZapQuell™ should never be used to mask or manage a symptom that warrants evaluation by the treating provider.
