DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. DHS DECA members have the opportunity to be academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders. As a DHS DECA member, you'll join more than 11,000 Wisconsin and 200,000 global members!
How Do I Join?
How Do I Join?
DHS DECA is open to ANY DHS student with an interest in leadership, business, entrepreneurship, community service, and improving communication skills. All students in DHS Business, Marketing, and Information Technology are HIGHLY encouraged to join. Membership dues are $30 annually. This fee includes local, state, and national dues and a DHS DECA tshirt. Talk to Ms. Carroll or a current DECA officer or member for details!
What Will I Do?
What Will I Do?
You make DECA what you want it to be! Compete, engage in Chapter Campaigns, get involved in Community Service Projects, and enhance your leadership skills! Plus, depending on how much time you commit to DHS DECA, you may have the opportunity to attend the International Career Development Conference in Nashville (2020), Anaheim (2021), Atlanta (2022), and Orlando (2023)

Make friends. Plan DHS DECA games, Snowball, and Spring Fling. Hold penny wars and miracle minutes. Travel to other high schools, Wisconsin Dells, Madison, Lake Geneva, Nashville, Anaheim, Atlanta, and Orlando!
