--Getting to site--
-Where can I purchase fuel?
Petrol can be obtained at the garage at Hambleton about 2 miles along the A59 towards Skipton, or in Skipton and Ilkley. In Skipton both Tesco and Morrisons have petrol stations. Tescos can be used 24 hours (using credit card) and there is a 24 hour Esso station at Cross Hills.
-Train and coach
The nearest railway stations are: Skipton (7 miles) with a good service to Leeds and Bradford and westwards to Morecambe and along the Settle-Carlisle railway to Carlisle. Ilkley (6 miles) with a good service to Leeds and Bradford.
-Bus
The nearest bus stops are the Devonshire arms and Bolton Bridge. The footpath between the Beamsley project and the nearest bus stop/the nearest off site accommodation is NOT good, it is unlit, degraded in spots and steep in parts. Use with caution.
The number 59 bus goes past the Beamsley project but will not stop there, please don’t ask the driver to do so as it is dangerous for them to stop at the gate.
-Is there a car park?
There is ample car parking available at the venue.
-Can I get a taxi there?
The taxi company recommended by the Beamsly project is as follows:
lkley Taxis 24/7

No.
-Do we need to bring bed linen?
Although you can bring your own if you wish, pillows, blankets, bed linen are provided, towels can be provided but ideally bring your own.
-Can we have a room to ourselves?
This may be possible if we don’t have enough numbers to fill all the rooms, however, it is unlikely. I’d recommend instead thinking about who you would prefer to share with and asking for that in your booking.
-Can we put a cot for our baby in our room?
Yes, the site can also provide a cot if you do not wish to travel with one. Please note having a baby with you does not guarantee you will have your own room.
-Can I smoke on site?
There is a smoking area on site but no smoking, vaping etc within the buildings or outside of the smoking area. Please smoke responsibly picking up used parts and not disturbing other guests.
-Is there a ‘quiet time?’
Yes, please do not play instruments outside between 21:00 and 09:00 as to avoid annoying the neighbours. Please be considerate of those trying to sleep and keep music, singing, etc to the common areas during these times (i.e. not in the corridors outside bedrooms, not in bedrooms). The ‘quiet areas’ will be marked by signs and a map in the foyer.
-Can I bring a campervan instead?-
Yes, we have space for 5 camper vans, the site considers that campervans are using the same facilities as the in-building guests and so charges similar rates per person. We have no control over the price.

There will be a fridge available in the utility room for those who need to bring their own food. Please make sure food is in containers or packaging and clearly labelled with your name. We have no further information than is stated here.
-Why are you asking for donations? What will they be used for?
All people registering for this event (including the free livestream registration) will be asked if they want to add a voluntary donation to their registration. --The livestream show--
-I am registered for the event as a resident/non-resident do I need a separate ticket for the livestream show?
No, you may either physically watch (or take part in!) the show, or watch it virtually if you prefer.
-I don't want to watch or take part in the livestream show
The site is large enough that you do not have to be involved if you do not wish, it takes place in the main hall.
-How do I get the link for the show?
It will be emailed to the email address you registered with closer to the event
--Other--
-What is the minimum number for this event to run? Break even?
That’s a difficult question, it depends on how many people are residents and how many are not staying on site. We have resident space for 30, the amount of non-residents depends on how many of those beds are taken due to the dining hall space. We’d need roughly 23 residents to make costs.
-My question isn't answered?
Please contact the event steward at steward.bahtatbardic<at>gmail.com
