DPS College Fair - Tuesday, September 30th!
SENIORS!!! We want to make sure you have an opportunity to take advantage of an upcoming event.
Tuesday, September 30th, we will be sponsoring a field trip for SENIORS ONLY to attend the DPS College Fair being held at the Durham Marriott City Center (see attached flyer). We will depart from Riverside High School at 10:30AM and return at 12:30PM. Here is the list of colleges attending.
If you desire to attend, we ask that you:

Register for the fair. There is a link in the form above that you can go to in order to register for the fair itself. (Question 3)
Print out the attached permission slip and medical form and drop it off in the office first thing Monday (September 15th!)morning. These forms are attached in this email and in the form above.
If for any reason it is not feasible to attend during the day, please note that the College Fair will be open to the general public from 5:30PM-7:30PM as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

That’s right. The Next NC Scholarship is a financial aid program that helps most North Carolinians from households making $80,000 or less pursue higher education. Students attending a community college will receive at least $3,000 per year. Those attending a public university in North Carolina will get a minimum of $5,000 per year. The best part? It’s money that doesn’t have to be repaid.
