At Southern High School, students have access to various opportunities and theatre education. Students explore college and career paths for working in the theatre indusrty. Previously, we have partnered with Duke, North Carolina Central University, and Durham Performing Arts Center. We perform a straight play and musical each year as well as other various drama club performances and showcases!

At Southern, we believe its important to collaborate with other artists within the Arts Department. Throughout the year, students can perform or attend multiple showcases between the Arts Department.
