Week 3 Transcriptions

Tuesday Music Theory CHARGEUP/Intervention Plan 9/10

1- Think of a song that has a great, but simple melody. 

2- Write your name at the top of the staff paper, and the name of the song. 

3- You may use the guitar or keyboard to try to find the starting note, then try to write out 2-4 measures of the melody on your staff paper. 

4- Write: Is it mostly conjunct or disjunct? If mostly conjuct are thre times that it leaps? If mostly disjunct, are there times when it moves by step?
