Roots and Shoots for Growing Gardners

Level: Kindergarten only

Tiny gardeners will learn cooperative and collaborative skills through gardening together with integration of life science, multisensory activities to develop gross and fine motor skills, and an emphasis on positive social and emotional development. 

Goal:

• Students will learn about plants from seed to stems, progress through planning stages with peer collaboration, learn strategies to manage frustration and negotiate in healthful ways to find resolutions.
