The Prowling Panthers are Murray-Massenburg Elementary’s premier dance auxiliary, representing the heart and rhythm of our school and the Durham Public Schools community. With every step, our dancers embody the MMES motto: “We Prowl with Purpose.” This club celebrates movement, discipline, and school pride through powerful performances that showcase our culture and climate.

Goals

Develop dance technique, coordination, and stage presence
Promote school spirit and community representation through performance
Build teamwork, confidence, and leadership in young dancers
Prepare students for public showcases and district-wide events

Requirements

Students must demonstrate commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm
Auditions may be required based on interest and space availability
Attendance at rehearsals and performances is expected
Performance attire will be provided or coordinated for events
