Student takes 1st place in the NC FFA Spanish Creed Speaking competition

Adriel moved on to represent North Carolina at the National level in Indianapolis, IN in October of 2024 where he placed top 12 in the nation!

D'Angelo Named 2025 NC CTE Teacher of the Year

Mr. D'Angelo was named the 2025 North Carolina CTE Teacher of the Year through the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT).

Jordan Agriscience Students Selected to For Robert's Global Ag Externship

Two Jordan High School FFA members, Lila and Olivia, were selected to participate in the Robert's Global Agriculture Research Externship program through NC State. They will work with agricultural experts to create a research paper and present to a panel of judges.

2023-2024 Gold Chapter Award

The Jordan High FFA program was recognized as a Gold, 2-Star Chapter through various activities that allowed students to grow as leaders, build their community, and strengthen agriculture.

2022-2023 State Superior Chapter Award

The Jordan High FFA program was 1 of 20 programs in NC to be recognized as a Superior Chapter through various activities that allowed students to grow as leaders, build their community, and strengthen agriculture.

Grants Received:

Durham County Soil and Water Association (2025) to purchase items to begin a steer (cattle) showing experience for students.
NC FFA Alumni Association (2025) to purchase enrichment items for our campus goats.
PTSA Grant (2025) to purchase livestock show items.
PTSA Travel Grant (2024) to take students to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Durham Soil & Water Agriculture Grant (2024) to establish a blueberry patch on campus.
NC Tobacco Trust Fund Grant (2022) to purchase a livestock trailer for the program.
