All Beginning Teachers are required to attend a virtual differentiated BT Support Session each quarter.
Individual schools may offer or require additional sessions.
Alternatively Licensed Teachers are required to attend the AL Academy until they have enrolled in an Educator Prep Program (EPP).
All district-required sessions occur on Tuesdays, 4:30-5:45 PM.

Beginning Teachers will begin each support session with their District Mentor, followed by various breakout sessions. BTs will have the option to choose the session that best aligns with their goals, needs, and interests. These sessions will support BTs in the areas of curriculum, classroom management, support for EL and EC students, high-impact teaching strategies (HITS), and more. BTs will also receive support in completing required BT Documentation.
These sessions take place virtually.
