Week Two Extensions: For many of these questions you will need critical thinking skills and you want to start by making a table and or make an assumption to start with. Please email me your answers!
Mr. Shutts bought 4 identical basketballs and 5 identical volleyballs for $230. Each basketball was $8 more expensive than a volleyball. Find the cost of each basketball and each volleyball.
There are 30 questions on a math test. All questions must be answered. 5 points are awarded for every correct answer. 2 points will be deducted for a wrong answer. If Amy scores 122 points, how many questions does she answer correctly?
