Talk about what you will do today. Use a piece of paper or a dry erase board. I usually draw a simple image to represent the activity along with a one or two word description. Review the schedule with ordinal words, for example "First we will finish our morning meeting, second we will make cookies, third we will go to the playground and fourth we will eat lunch." You can cross out each activity as they are accomplished.
