Bio:

As a mom to twin toddlers and a survivor of the many changes DSISD has seen over the last five years, I am a deep believer in the power of a growth mindset. The DSISD community challenges me every day to grow more flexible, daring, and persistent; I hope that it leaves our students with the same strengths.

After growing up in Grand Junction, CO, I moved to study English & Art History at the University of Denver. I continued my graduate studies at both DU and CSU to receive an MA in Curriculum & Instruction, as well as English.

Since student teaching at DSISD, I have continued to fall deeper in love with our community and the many opportunities that it gives students & teachers to grow both together and as individuals.
