Hello 10th graders! We hope that you and your families are all doing well!  We are Mrs. Cindy Gandara and Ms. Jessica Seifert.  We are looking forward to a great School Year.

Our 3 main areas are to provide you with social/emotional support, academic support, and career exploration.  Please take some time to explore the activities and information we have posted below as well as the "Academic Resources, Social Emotional Resources, Career Exploration" and "Support" tabs on this website.

UPDATES:

I highly recommend that you "LIKE" the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College page on Social Media--Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.  Our school posts helpful information there daily.  I also recommend that you check www.dpsk12.org periodically for updates.

10th Grade ICAP Topics

I look forward to making ICAP a meaningful experience for you!  Here are the topics we will be exploring in 10th grade:

Quarter 1:  Students will understand what their current GPA is, determine classes they wish to take in High School that are in alignment with their current career goals, and understand whether they are on track or off track to graduate based on their High School credits.

Quarter 2:  Students will take the Holland Code survey and determine their top Holland Codes as well as majors or areas of study they are interested in.

Quarter 3Students will find some college in Colorado that they could attend based on their current GPA.

Quarter 4 Students will determine their postsecondary goal and determine which steps they need to take to have a promising college application.
