7th Grade ICAP Topics
I look forward to making ICAP a meaningful experience for you! Here are the topics we will be exploring in 7th grade:
Quarter 1: We will review extra curricular activities, such as Sports and Clubs, available at DMLK. Students will identify 3 they are interested in. Students will also learn about Resumes.
Quarter 2: Students will complete a Strengths Explorer Survey and find 3 strengths they have as well as identify 2 Career Paths that relate to those Strengths.
Quarter 3: Students will learn about the 4 main options after High School: Go to work, Go to college, Go to a Technical School, or Join the Military. Students select which they plan to do. Students also will learn about ways to make College more affordable.
Quarter 4: Students will reflect on their academic goals and attitude and write 2 things they will work on for the rest of the school year.
