Back to the Future- 2048

Dear diary, It was August 24th 2048, I am 12 years old. In a couple of days it will be my birthday. I am going to be a full teenager. My name is Markus Helenback. I live in upstate New York. I am a mechanic and have been working on my bike. I have created a machine that will make my bike go so much faster than the other kids at school. Everyday that I would go to school I get bullied by the other kids because they must have thought that I am a target. I can’t wait to prove them wrong. I fell asleep in the garage. Or at least I thought that I did because I was being awoken the next morning by a butler robot. His name was Watson.

“Master Mark, your royal breakfast awaits you” he told me.

“Okay?” I replied in confusion.

I was so confused. I scratched my head and looked out the window. I saw buildings made out of bubbles. I saw people floating past my room on the bubbles. One of the ladies waved at me. So I waved back. I had suddenly remembered what I had done to my hand. I looked at the palm of my hand and there was not a scratch on my hand. I grabbed my phone that was on the stand next to me. I looked at my phone and at the date. That was when I had realized that it was 2048
