According to Scholastics, Photography includes images captured by either an analog or digital camera. Examples (including but not limited to): Black and white photographs, color photographs, digital or analog photographs, photograms, other experimental photography, etc.
Photography documents our history and way of life. Photographs reveal landscapes, fashions of the time and traditions, sometimes grisly. Iamges may be of mundane activites or subjects, but when photographed, we see them in a new light and bring sensitivity to those topics. At times, image making seemed more magic than science, but never less than art.
