Escape room

One of the activities we organized was an Escape Room, where the objective of the game was to unlock a chest containing the key to exit the room. The chest was secured with six locks of different colours, and various puzzles were designed to reveal the codes needed to unlock the locks. These puzzles were situated in environments where English was the primary language.

With each clue, the students had to undertake different tasks to obtain the code for each padlock. For instance, they might have had to examine a deck of cards where three cards had different colors, and since each card had a distinct number, they had to deduce the padlock password from this. Another challenge involved researching an article to find a hidden code, or searching through a box filled with lentils.

These challenges provided opportunities for the students to unlock the chest, revealing surprises inside such as candies.

Some of the players' feedback indicated that it was a very enjoyable and exciting activity, but a bit challenging, as only a few groups managed to successfully leave the room.
