Fall sports have wrapped up and winter sports are underway. Before you know it, it will be February and the Track & Field season will be underway! Here are opportunities that athletes can take advantage of to be ready to go when the season kicks off on February 19.
NOTE: There are plenty of other places that offer training. These are just some opportunities that have been shared with us or that athletes have done in the past.
All T&F Athletes: Off season lifting/workouts are the expectation, unless you are participating in a winter sport. Tracking Attendance in the weight room will start November 27th. To be considered for indoor competitions your attendance is needed. We are implementing a point system for lettering this season, attending off season lifts will help you earn points for lettering.
Distance Girls: You will also do strength after school Monday and Thursdays. Distance groups should also plan to run after school each day together, a calendar will be sent to you for suggested mileage. Logging should continue to take place over the winter.
Offseason Workout Information:
Mondays: Workout 3:35-4:30pm, Lifting 4:30-5:15pm
Thursdays: Lift 3:30-4:15pm, Workout 4:15-5pm
