Bio: Coach Parriott is a native of Kansas City. She came to Iowa in 2002 to track and cross country fo the Drake Bulldogs where she set the school record in the Steeplechase. She graduated from Drake in 2006 with a degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. In 2020, she graduated with her Masters in Online Education from the University of Missouri. Coach Parriott has two daughters, MJ and Everly, who attend Sacred Heart School. Her husband, Brant, is also a teacher and coach at Dowling. She has been teaching Economics and US History for 13 years, and is also the assistant coach for cross country.

Bio: Tom is from Des Moines and graduated from Dowling Catholic in 1975. After attending the University of Iowa, Tom returned to the Des Moines area and soon after got into coaching. He has been a long time girls basketball coach (currently the JV1 head coach), was a long time softball coach, and has been involved in girls track and field at some level for almost 30 years. Before joining the high school staff, Tom was the head track and field coach at St. Theresa and ran the parochial track and field meets for 10 years. Tom and his wife, Melanie, have two children (Michael and Allie) who graduated from DCHS. Tom is currently phasing into retirement from his courier business.

Bio: Coach Patten is from Johnston, IA where he graduated in 2010. In high school, Coach Patten was a state meet qualifier in the 400 meter hurdles (finished 13th his junior year) and in the shuttle hurdle relay (4th his senior year). He then went on to Grand View where he was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and MCC All-Conference 400 meter hurdler. Coach Patten is now in his 8th year teaching in the Social Studies department and currently teaches Sociology and Advanced US History. He has been a member of the coaching staff since the 2018 season. His wife, Gabe, works at Power Life.

Bio: Coach Greiner is from Story City, graduating from Roland Story High School in 2015. After high school, he went to Iowa Central before finishing at Grand View where he was a member of the bowling team. While at Grand View, he started to coach at his alma mater before joining the DCHS staff as throws coach. He is currently working at Ignit Sports and is a substitute teacher at DCHS and a number of our parochial schools. Coach Greiner is also on the girls basketball staff where he just finished his 4th year as the JV2 assistant coach.

Bio: From Ankeny, Iowa, graduated from Ankeny High School in 2010 where he participated in basketball, baseball, choir, and show choir. Graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014 with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. Has been a teacher at Dowling Catholic since the fall of 2015 and currently teaches Engineering and Computer Science. Coach Vanderah has been the Head JV2 Girls Basketball Coach since the 2016-17 season and has been on the Track & Field staff since the 2020 season. His wife, Janelle, works for Heartland AEA as a support specialist and currently works with the Knoxville, Melcher-Dallas, and Martensdale-St. Marys school districts. They welcomed their first child, Keira, in June of 2023.

Coach Wittrock is originally from Richland, IA and went to Pekin High School where he graduated in 2018. Pekin is always on the border between 1A and 2A, so his freshman & junior years were in class 1A and his sophomore and senior years were in class 2A. He was an 11-time state qualifier and a 5-time state champion. His junior year he was on the quartet that set the class 1A boys record in the 4x800 relay, and his senior year he won all 4 events he was in (400, 800, 4x400, 4x800). After high school he had a successful career at Grand View University, where he was a 12-time All-American and a 2-time national champion across Cross Country and Track & Field. He is also the school record holder in the 1,500 meter run and the 4x800 Relay.
