We are two weeks away from the 2023 Drake Relays, which means we have one week left to put forth our best marks to qualify. The relays will run from April 27-April 29 with high school, collegiate, and professional events intermixed over the weekend. The Drake Relays are the hardest high school meet to qualify for each season as they take a look at all athletes in Iowa and do not separate events by class. One other additional wrinkle is that a scholl can have up to 3 athletes in each event, which is different from a traditional meet and the state meet where you can only have 2 varsity athletes per school. I'll go through event by event and see where we stand. The athletes listed below are either in the field or within 5 places of the field.
NOTE: Due to time in the schedule, there is no 200 meter dash. The girls will run the sprint medley and no distance medley, and the boys will run a distance medley and no sprint medley.
For all Drake Relays information, you can visit their website.

*The are 2 times in Bound that are not feasible, so I did not include those. They occurred at a meet that had issues with their timing system and had multiple schools breaking the state record by several seconds.
