Keeping a daily routine is extremely important, this includes wake-up alarms beeping at the usual time, breakfast on the table and set learning hours each day.
Learning will be provided for you on a daily basis through Google Classroom.
Simulate your learning at home around your school timetable and complete the work prepared for each of the lessons.
Create a study area where you can go to learn each day. Try to find a quiet place away from distractions or use headphones to block out background noise. Sit at a table on a comfortable chair rather than on a bed or sofa.
Take short breaks in between lessons. Feed your brain with healthy snacks and plenty of water.
Physical activity is an important part of learning. Get up and out in the backyard and MOVE YOUR BODY!
Trying dancing, walking around the backyard, play with your pets, kicking a ball.
Moving increases the endorphins in your body which = positive wellbeing
Your teachers will be uploading all of your work on google classroom.
If you are having difficulty with the work..
Email your teachers or message them through google classrooms if you need help.
Email your PC Teacher or Year Coordinator if you have any concerns.
Try to stay in touch with your friends via text, Messenger, WhatsApp, FaceTime, or (gasp!) a good “old fashioned” phone call.
You will be spending a lot of time learning online. Make sure you continue to use the technology appropriately. It is expected that all students use the technology in line with the Responsible use of Technology agreement.
Remain on task, don’t have too many desktops open, minimise distractions.
