Ultimately it is up to group members, but here are some of our ideas!
Examining our water usage and implementing a rain barrel system
Planting pollinator-friendly plants in the DS Garden
Offering more plant-based diet options in the cafeterias and expanding the nutrition curriculum
Educating the public about environmental issues
Implementing stronger climate change curriculums across schools
Upgrading fixtures at the school to be more water and energy efficient

The Sustainability Task Force is an environmental group that encompasses all four DS schools. It is currently run by Co-chairs Dawn Fattore, our business manager, and Angela Lin.
