Club Description:
Drama Club is an extracurricular activity designed to engage students in the performing arts and theater. Throughout the year students will learn different acting skills, work on building and maintaining sets, make and/or obtain different props, design costumes, practice and implement stage makeup, and much more!
Drama Club Contract:
Attendance: All students are required to attend all rehearsals for which they are scheduled. Not everyone is required at all rehearsals.
Excused Absences: Absences may be excused if a note from a parent is submitted or in the event of sickness or family emergency (As noted in school attendance records).
Unexcused Absences: Unexcused absences will not be tolerated. In order to maintain professionalism and a high level of performance quality, each student will do their best to attend rehearsals in order to maintain the goals for the good of all. The director will be in charge of approving absences and students who miss two rehearsals will be notified via a verbal warning.
Sports and other school activities: While it is important to be involved in many activities, students must be responsible in their time management. Students may negotiate a shared schedule between the director and other activity advisors/coaches. If the student is a lead character, there cannot be any conflicts. It is advised that if a student cannot attend all dress rehearsals and performances for the entire duration, the student will be removed from the production. Please do not become overcommitted, plan ahead!
Attitude in Rehearsal: All students involved in the production share equal importance. Arrogance and misconduct in any form will not be tolerated. If you are put on warning and asked to leave a rehearsal more than once, you will be removed from the production.
Be Prepared: Students are required to be on time for club meetings and all rehearsals. Students must come prepared with scripts, pencils for marking scripts, and all other materials for rehearsals.
Casting Requirement: Students wishing to audition must perform one of the provided monologues. Memorizing the monologue is encouraged, but not required. All parts will be cast based on the student's audition.

When the Sheriff tells Jan that she needs to catch the next outlaws or else, Jan sets out to take on the most notorious outlaws in the West: Hombre and Millie Nair. Will Jan find her bravery and save the day or will Hombre and Mille Nair get their big heist?

Their captor is none other than their arch nemesis, Dogg Dastardly. He is, once again, up to his no-good, evil tricks. He threatens to destroy the city of Metroville. And that’s not all! Soon our dynamic duo discovers that a new, more powerful super-villain has emerged. She goes by the name of Lexie Looter. In other words…she steals things! Can our heroes escape? And if so, will they be able to stop them before it’s too late? This fantastic adventure will keep you on the edge of your seats. You’ll laugh, you’ll gasp, and then you’ll laugh some more. The Murder Farce

Synopsis: Friends of Karen, the birthday girl, plan a surprise party at a remote Air B&B Fishing Lodge with no cell or internet service. Guests arrive - two caterers who are frenemies, an ex-boyfriend, a spiritual advisor, a gastroenterologist, and a balloon artist - but Karen is nowhere to be found. A car drives up, the guests turn off the lights for the birthday surprise, the door opens and closes, a gunshot, the lights turn on - and there's Karen... lying dead on the floor. Obviously, the guests decide that the only way to solve the murder, is to re-enact the crime. "This is so much better than the average birthday party," says the kleptomaniacal spiritualist. Will the mystery be solved when the Delivery Person arrives - remember, UPS always rings thrice.
