Hello! My name is Colleen Schmidt!

I am a Health and Physical Education Teacher and Assistant Cross Country Coach. I earned my degree in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where I also played Women’s Rugby.

My love of athletics began in high school, where I was a three-season distance runner, competing in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. Those experiences taught me the importance of perseverance, teamwork, discipline, and setting goals—values I continue to share with my children, students and athletes.

As a teacher and coach, my goal is to create a positive and inclusive environment where students feel supported, build confidence, and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. I especially enjoy helping students discover that success comes from effort, growth, and believing in themselves.
