Maths Week 2026

Maths Week 2026 was a great success in Doon CBS. Plenty of maths games were played in all the classrooms. Most enjoyable of all from a pupils point of view, was our 'estimating skills', which were tested by Mrs. Breen. Estimating the amount of items in a jar ranged from skittles to marshmallows to cola bottles!!!! Well done to all those who took part as well as those who guessed the nearest and got to keep all those lovely sweets. From a parents perspective, thanks for all your help and assistance with our nightly maths questions from each teacher. There was great participation from all, with some very tricky questions. Thanks to Mrs. Breen for all her hard work in coordinating a great week.
