We done to all those who helped Doon CBS become an active school. We were officially awarded our 3rd active flag on the 17th June 2022. As a special prize for winning our 3rd flag, we were presented with a brand new portable speaker. This will be of much use throughout the years.

Well done to all pupils in 4th, 5th & 6th class who competed in our annual yard league. This was a very successful competition and enjoyed by all participants. Congratulations to Harry O' Brien and his team.

Run Around Ireland
On March 14th we started the 'Run Around Ireland' challenge. To mark this, we organised a 5km run in our local Gaa grounds. All pupils completed this run at their own pace with plenty of smiling faces before and after!! Thanks also to the parents of the Active school committee who recorded each childs run with plenty of encouragement as well as providing some well earned refreshments after.
