Itinerary in Detail

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (Dinner included) Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City formerly called Saigon.Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City tour - China town (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included) A full day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh city, including the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral. Old Saigon Post Office, the History Museum, a lacquer ware factory, the former US Embassy, then pass by the bustling China town. visit Thien Hau temple and Cholon market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh province in the northwest of Saigon. At Tay Ninh visit the colorful Holy See temple, the heart of the unique religion in Vietnam called Cao Dai, and where all the faiths of the world blend together in a unique religious cocktail, take part in attending mass service at noon time.

In the afternoon visit Cu Chi famous tunnel, an incredible underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Can Tho (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cai Be.

Take a boat trip to Vinh Long. Wholesale big boats at Cai Be floating market will be seen in the trip, recognized by what they sell through its wooden poles hanging samples of their products. Cruise up to Vinh Long visit to pottery firm...

Transfer to Can Tho then check in in hotel. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 5: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

A half day boat trip leading to Cai Rang floating market, where hundreds of boat of all size gather to exchange their agriculture products. Another way back to Can Tho through small water coconut shaded canals; stop at a farmer's house to enjoy some tropical fruits. Cruise back to Can Tho, then back up to Ho Chi Minh City, check in hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City - Nam Cat Tien National Park (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Nam Cat Tien national Park: unload travel gear to across a river to get into the territory of this national park. check into accommodation (forest standard). In the afternoon take a short trekking tour to Thac Troi (heaven water fall), then Bau Sau, time to observe wild crocodiles, back up to the HQ of the park for dinner. Enjoy night jeep-trip to watch wild animal, then back home for overnight.

Day 7: Nam Cat Tien National Park - Da Lat (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

After breakfast, check out then hop onto a boat, cruise along the Dong Nai River to visit TaLai ethnic minority village. Get on dry land, van pick up to leave Nam Cat Tien national park for Da Lat- the famous region for its French architectures, cool temperature region dotted with lakes, waterfalls and industrial plants: coffee and tea. Arrive in Da Lat, check in hotel. Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 8: Da Lat - Nha Trang (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

A morning tour in Dalal to Langbian Mountain, small trekking to digest your breakfast - this is the famous mountain of legend for hill tribes in Dalat. Back to town, visit the summer Palace of Emperor Bao Dai (the last one of the Nguyen dynasty), old railway station where there is still an old steam engine. Leave Da Lat before noontime, descending the Ngoan Muc pass visit to the most well maintained Cham tower in Phan Rang, the thirteenth-century Poklongiarai tower. Arrive in Nha Trang, check in hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 9: Nha Trang (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

The city of Nha Trang is famous for its beautiful beach, covering an area of 15 kms long situated in the Southern Central of Vietnam. Take half-day boat trip for snorkeling and relaxing on an island's beach off from Nha Trang coast. Explore the fishing village with an amazing experience of rowing on a small bamboo basket boat. Afternoon half-day tour in town visit to Oceanographic Institute founded in 1923 - it has an aquarium and tanks are home to diverse live specimens of local marine life, including seahorses... The Cham towers of Ponagar were built in between 8th and 12th centuries, used for Hindu worship in early time, and recently is used for worship to Goddess of the City. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 10: Nha Trang - Qui Nhon (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Leave Nha Trang in the morning for Qui Nhon. Stop at Dai Lanh beach en route for swimming and lunch break. Make a short visit after Dai Lanh to a private fish sauce fabric. Arrive in Qui Nhon, check in hotel. Overnight in Qui Nhon.

Day 11: Qui Nhon - Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Leave Qui Nhon in the morning, stop for photographing with local people making mats and tapioca papers en route. Lunch in Quang Ngai and transfer to My Lai, a site of the most horrific war crimes during the war, especially on 16th March 1968. Arrive in Hoi An, check in hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Hoi An was once one of South-East-Asia's major international port during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries for Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese and other trading vessels. The tourist's attractions on Hoi An is its old Vietnamese-Japanese- Chinese architectures and the peaceful atmosphere. Morning half-day tour in town (about 1 sq km) includes Chinese temple, old house, museum, and Japanese Covered Bridge. In the afternoon free at leisure for shopping or a bicycle ride to the nearby Cua Dai beach. Overnight in HoiAn.

Day 13: Hoi An - Hue (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Morning departure for Hue by road. Visit Marble Mountains and Cham museum in Da Nang - it was founded in 1915 and has become the main museum in Vietnam where exhibits the finest Champa sculpture collection in the world. En route a break at the charming Lang Co beach, and then to Hue, check in hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 14: Hue - Ninh Binh (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

City tour in Hue, the city was once Vietnam’s Capital from 1802 to 1945 ruled by 13 Emperors under the Nguyen dynasty. Traditionally, it also has been one of Vietnam’s main cultural, religious and educational centers. Visit Imperial Citadel, which was mostly constructed in 1804 by Gia Long, known as the first Emperor who established the dynasty. Continue the tour by a boat ride on the romantically named Perfume River to the best known Thien Mu Pagoda. The pagoda itself was originally founded in 1601, and has become one of the most famous structures in Vietnam. Make a short tour to the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, transfer back to Hue, at leisure until taking the night train to Ninh Binh.

Day 15: Ninh Binh - Cuc Phuong National Park (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Arrival in Ninh Binh, freshen up and confirm your stomach, transfer for visit to temples King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh in Hoa Lu, known as the first capital of Vietnam ruled under the Dinh and Early Le dynasties from 968 to 1009 AD. Continue the excursion. Make a rowing boat trip through Tam Coc ( three caves), which is called the Ha Long on land with its rock formations jutting out of the rice paddies. Leave nic road along northern highland. The national park was firstly established in Viet Nam; Cuc Phuong is and area of limestone hills covered with large tracts of primeval rainforest. A lot of key bird species here, flora and fauna are rich in this park. Brief introduction of the national park by the Park Headquarters’ reception, then take an hour drive to the Park’s center. Relax in the nature with forest breeze and sound track of wild animals in the background. Overnight a Cuc Phuong center.

Day 16: Cuc Phuong center - Muong Village (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

After breakfast pack your picnic lunch and load up yourself with travel gear, leaving the Park center for a full day forest hike through primary forest to the remote Muong village. Hike by a romantic rocky brook and a Tro tree up to 1000 years old. The going is tough through the forest but the views from top of the top, the pristine forest flora, medical plants and opportunity to visit a remote hill tribe settlement make it a rewarding and memorial experience. Arrive at a stilt house of Muong Village in the late afternoon. Freshe up with cold water from forest stream. Dinner provided by forest men and served at local stilt house. Overnight at a stilt house of Muong ethnic minority. Total walking time of around 07 hours today.

Day 17: Muong Village - Nho Quan (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Today the total of trekking time around 03 hours, leave Muog village with your travel gear and take a raft across a small river by the side of Village, follows aneasy trail through gardens and orchards onwards to Nho Quan Village. Continues the trek to a local suspension bridge where the bus is waiting for the drive to Nho Quan Town for Lunch. After recharging your batteries with cold beer and local food, leave Nho Quan to head towards HW1 to Ha Long.

Day 18: Ha Long (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Full day cruise on a private boat in the bay with its 3,000 limestone islands and Islets rising from the clear, emerald waters of the gulf of Tonkin covering an area of 1,500 sq kms. Visit to the most beautiful grottoes naturally created with colorful stalactites and stalagmites heve been forming lillions years till now. Moor at some beautifully quiet spots for swimming and a fresh seafood lunch be served on board. Back to Ha Long and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Ha Long.

Day 19: Ha Long - Ha Noi (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

In the morning leave Ha Long for Ha Noi, a short break at a pottery & ceramic village en route, check in the hotel. In the afternoon at leisure for shopping or wondering around the capital city. Enjoy the unique folk art performed on surface of water called "water puppet show" in the evening. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 20: Ha Noi (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner included)

Full day city tour, known as the city of lakes, green trees, old architectures ... of Vietnam. The tour includes the most highlight sights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where his body is kept, stilt house where he lived on and off from 1958 to 1969, one pillar pagoda which was built by the King Ly Thai Tong who ruled from 1028 to 1054. Temple of Literatue was founded in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, and in order to educate the sons of mandarins, the Vietnam’s first university was established here in 1076. Ethnology museum is well worth to observing the depth of cultural diversity of Vietnam’s 54 minority groups; the museum exhibits collections of art and everyday objects gathered from through out Vietnam. Visit to cental (Hoan Kiem) lake and Old Quarter. Enjoy a water puppet show in the evening. Over night in Ha Noi.

Day 21: Ha Noi - Departure (Breakfast included)

Breakfast at hotel, check-out then leisure time until transfer for onwards flight.
