Professional Development
One component of the La Vida program is professional development for faculty and staff which centers on strengthening graduate student support. As Director of Professional Development, Dr. Katie Lewis facilitates external and internal learning opportunities across areas aligned with LVDP goals.Topics address student-centered, assets-based approaches and include culturally relevant learning, high-impact practices, universal design for learning, trauma-informed pedagogy, & more.
