Service-Learning: Community engagement is required and fully integrated into course content, with an expectation that students commit approximately 2 hours each week of the semester to support a SL Program-provided community partner organization site. Community engagement typically occurs outside of scheduled class session(s) (unless otherwise noted) and is part of the out-of-class time per the university’s credit hour policy.
