Honors Students Tuition Waiver Units

Before Honors students proceed with registering for more than 18 units, please familiarize yourself with the policy and the following requirements approved by the Honors Board, AVPAA, and VPAA to make sure the student is eligible:
Students may register for a total of 6 units of overload without an additional fee while enrolled at Dominican.
This means that a student may register for over 18 units (up to a maximum of 22 units) in one semester.
To be eligible for this benefit, the student should have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Students joining the program after matriculating or transfer students need to complete at least 8 units of honors coursework before using the tuition waiver.
First-year students are not eligible for the tuition waiver.
Honors students must inform Lynn Sondag, who then notifies the Financial Aid Office to ensure the student is not billed for these units.
