Job Fair Regulation is an employment facilitation strategy aimed to fast-track the meeting of jobseekers, employers and recruitment agencies in one venue at a specific date te reduce cost, time, and effort partcularly on the part of the applicants. Job Fairs are open to all unemployed, skilled and unskilled workers, college and senior high school graduates, graduates of training institutions, displaced workers including returning OFWs, and employees seeking career advancement.
GUIDANCE NOTES
PESOs and DOLE POs are granted editing access only to the reports indicated in red font. Reports shown in black font are for viewing purposes only, with editing access restricted to the RO.
All participating employers shall be encoded in the form;
Encode 1 vacancy per row;
Encode in CAPITAL LETTERS;
Job Title should be SINGULAR regardless of vacancy count (ex: PRODUCTION OPERATOR NOT PRODUCTION OPERATORS)
Encode the employers’ email addresses, as all advisories and other announcements following confirmation of their participation will be sent to these addresses.
All other JF Forms in this Job Fair Phase shall be accomplished by the RO JF Focal Person/ RO JF Program Coordinator
All job fair applicants shall be encoded using the prescribed encoding form (Scenario A);
In cases where the volume of applicants makes same-day encoding impractical, HOTS applicants shall be given priority (Scenario B);
In the case of Scenario A, Reports as of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM will be automatically updated;
In the case of Scenario B, figures for Applicants Registered (total only), Applicants Qualified, Not Qualified, and Near-Hired (per company) must be manually entered in the Reports as of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, respectively.
All other reports will be automatically updated.
The PESO and DOLE POs shall be responsible for monitoring placement status of applicants;
Final Placement Report shall be accomplished by the RO JF Focal Person/ RO JF Program Coordinator and shall be submitted to the Bureau of Local Employment 30 days after the conduct of Job Fair.
