What is ELDRS?
The Early Learning Data & Reporting System (ELDRS) is an early childhood data project funded by the Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five (PDG B-5) Renewal and managed by the Office of Early Learning & Development (OELD). The project began in February 2024 with collaboration between OELD and DBDriven. The first year of the project involved data discovery, system and reporting requirements, developing the ELDRS warehouse, a QRIS report, an internal State Pre-K report, and more. In essence, all early childhood data in the Nevada Dept. of Education can be housed in and analyzed from a central source.
The Nevada Early Childhood Advisory Council Data and Evaluation Subcommittee focuses on upholding responsible and transparent data practices, prioritizing Nevada's families, cultural appropriateness, and ensuring collection of data is both ethical and private.
