Summary of this workshop:
Arabic (عربي) is a Semitic language and it is still widely used and spoken today. Around 292 million people speak it as their first language. Many more people can also understand it as a second language. The Arabic language has its own alphabet written from right to left. Since it is so widely spoken throughout the world, the language is one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
This workshop offers students a first taste of Arabic in an interactive online learning environment.

Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. The story and emotional content of a musical – humour, pathos, love, anger – are communicated through words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole.
In this session, students will gain an introductory understanding of musicals, especially the most famous pieces of musicals, like The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Hamilton and Wicked, etc. Music lovers will definitely enjoy this session!
