Where the rocky and sandy beaches are and are areas just next to the seas!

• Exposed to sunlight (can be quite bright!)

• Sandy or rocky (Covered with sand and rocks)

• May be covered by water at different times of the day when the tides come in. So, sometimes it is dry, sometimes it is flooded.
