A pond is a small area of freshwater surrounded by land.
This habitat includes the water as well as the surrounding area that outlines the pond.
Exposed to sunlight (quite bright)
Water is usually cool

Duck
Fish e.g. Koi (in the picture shown on the top left)

3) submerged in the pond. (deep underneath the pond surface)
