DITO SA DMMMSU is the online show launched by the University in adherence to CMO No. 8. Series of 2021. The bi-monthly online program debuted its first season in October 2021 and ends on September 2022. It is facilitated and supervised by the Office of the Chancellor and the Integrated Media and Communication Management Unit—through the technical assistance of the Management Information System Unit of DMMMSU-SLUC. It is aired via the official Facebook Page of DMMMSU-SLUC and is held every first and third week of the month.
The purpose of the online program is to serve as a forum in which members of the DMMMSU community may share their success stories and recognize the contributions they have made to attain DMMMSU’s philosophy, vision, mission, and goals. In addition to this, the forum also serves as a venue for the discussion of topical issues and challenges that are currently being confronted by the community. Additionally, it serves as a link between the university and the community, and it will facilitate the transfer of information and technology to better serve clientele and beneficiaries
DITO SA DMMMSU is divided into the following segments:
I AM SLUC tells human stories from the perspectives of diverse stakeholders. It deepens viewers' awareness and enjoyment of storytelling via captivating tales. Like a talk show format, guests present inspirational, motivational tales about their hardships, successes, inventions, etc. Anyone with SLUC-relevant tales might be a guest. He may be a successful alum who launched a firm online, a researcher-innovator whose work was published and sold, or a student who trended on social media. This 30-minute presentation features individuals and their inspiring experiences.
Oh-SIKA-DATA (Online Space for Innovation, Kreativity, Arts and everything DATA) is a 30-minute internet conversation program that aims to promote communal life. It tackles community discussion programs that target innovations, creativity, humanities and the arts, public concerns/issues, etc. since these have gained appeal as unique and successful instrument for empowering communities. This platform allows flexible public service delivery.
D-NEWS (At the of SLUC) is a 10-minute campus news bulletin service for DMMMSU-SLUC published by the Campus Publication Unit. D-NEWS (at the core of SLUC) reports on a broad variety of news and concerns, notably those related to DMMMSU-SLUC. Deliver a monthly complete, accurate, current, and relevant internet broadcast news service to DMMMSU-SLUC stakeholders.
BILIS: Education on the Go (Bite-sized Learning Institute on Social Media) describes an instructional technique that uses bite-sized learning modules to help viewers attain a goal. Short, informative videos increase online audience retention and engagement. This can be achieved through 15-minute bite-sized learning videos which are on-demand, interesting, and media-rich.
SLUC Stage is a platform where students, faculty and staff could showcase their talents. Be it in dancing, singing, rapping, beat boxing and what-have-you, everyone is invited to submit their videos.
Sali-salo Together is a real-time (live) interactive game show with a live host—moderating pop or trivia quizzes, problem-solving/brainteaser quizzes, what’s inside the box game, teambuilding activities and others. Viewers may use the comment box to activity engage in the segment. Prizes await the winners.
