General Assemblies are termly events that aim to make the organization bond with each other. It also provides the organization an opportunity to present the activities they have in store for the members for the term as well as to give updates regarding previously held events.
Movie Nights are another bonding activity held by the organization that opens the opportunity for students to catch-up or make new friends and just relax after a long day at school.
Psych Game Night was an event held to provide a mental health break for Lasallians before taking their midterms. The activity doubled as a learning activity and a fun break with the members of SMS.
On the other hand, Psych Game Night: Archetypes was supposed to be a night where students gathered to play a unique rendition of the popular game Werewolf. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, this specific game night was cancelled.
Unwind: A Day for You was a seminar/workshop series held last Nov. 15. that intended to de-stress students and let them enjoy fun, relaxing activities. The event series started off with Mandala Painting, followed by Journaling 101, then A Talk for You, and was capped off with the Open Mic Night.
Psych Life Series was a four-day seminar organized by SMS for students who are still unsure of how to proceed with life after graduating with a Psychology degree. The event series was supposed to tackle a wide array of topics. However, the last two seminars were postponed due to the pandemic.
First Aid First! was a seminar that discussed how to better cope with stress and how to apply first aid in mental health situations. The seminar featured two speakers, Dr. Maribel Dominguez and Ms. Myreen Cleofe.
119hosting was an event held by the organization to meet and bond with the 119 froshies. It served as a fun bonding activity for the 119 students and SMS, as well as an unofficial introduction to the program of Psychology.
Psych Tutoring Services was SMS’ way of helping students who were having a hard time with their Psychology subjects. The event was supposed to tackle LBY1STA for 119 students and PSYTHEO for 118 students. However, the event was postponed until further notice due to the pandemic.
Get Psyched! was originally a week-long mental health campaign that aims to raise public mental health awareness, support people with mental health conditions, and fight the stigma surrounding mental health. However, due to the pandemic, Get Psyched! has been moved online and instead will be holding a series of webinars.
