What is Managing Data?
With the amount of data today, in order to use this data accurately and effectively, it is crucial for us to have a firm understanding of fundamental statistical ideas and techniques. Managing data entails gathering, organizing, and presenting a large amount of information in a way that makes it more useful and comprehendible.
Types of Measures -
Measures of Central Tendency - It is a summary measure that aims to explain an entire set of data with a single number that corresponds to the middle or center of the data set.
Measure of Dispersion - Determines how far apart from the mean the observations are by measuring the variability.
Measure of Relative Position - A value's position in relation to other values in the same collection of data.
Measures of Shape - Indicate how a data set's data are organized.
Measures of Correlation - A single number that expresses the strength of the correlation between two variables.
